Funeral for Dewey G. Holaway, 82, of Falkville was Sunday, Feb. 29, at 1:30 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Kenneth Weldon officiating.
Burial was in Union Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Holaway died Friday, Feb. 27, 2004, at Falkville Healthcare Center. He was born Aug. 8, 1921, in Morgan County to John Lewis Holaway and Alice Pitman Holaway. He was a farmer and a crane operator for Decatur Iron and Steel. He was a Baptist.
He is survived by two sons, Sherrell Holaway and Roger Holaway, both of Hartselle; two daughters, Jane Hill of Hartselle and Wilma Hall of Falkville; 10 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.
Pallbearers were Tracy Hill, Jason Hill, Shawn Holaway, Michael Holaway, Logan Holaway and Barry Hall.
