State of county breakfast set

Good news abounds! I have so much to tell you that I'm not sure where to begin. I'll just take them one at a time and hope that you too get excited about what is happening.
Let me begin by inviting you to attend the State of the County Breakfast that will take place at Sparkman Civic Center. County Commission Chairman Larry Bennich will be our guest speaker. The breakfast is planned for March 9 at 7:30 a.m. The cost of the breakfast is $12 per person and full breakfast will be served. The Hartselle Area Chamber of Commerce and the Decatur/Morgan County Chamber of Commerce host the breakfast.

The Chamber Annual Banquet is Thursday, March 11 and will be held at the Sparkman Civic Center.
This event is not limited to chamber members.
If you are interested in attending, please call the chamber office. This will be a great way for you to see what the Hartselle Area Chamber of Commerce is doing for its members and for the Hartselle area. Please RSVP to the Chamber at 773-4370.
To those of you that sent in names for the annual awards and new board members – thank you! Your participation and input are greatly appreciated.
I traveled to Indianapolis, Ind. last Friday to work in the North Alabama Tourism Association booth. I worked shifts on Friday and Saturday. While working at these travel shows, we are able to promote the Hartselle area and North Alabama. It is amazing how many people have never been to our beautiful state. I enjoyed telling them about the many reasons they should get off of I-65 to visit, shop and stay overnight in North Alabama.. They were excited at the possibilities and so was I.
