Funeral for Hilda Joan Self, 55, of Hartselle was Wednesday, March 10, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Jack Redfern, Jr., Bob Gordon and Robert Slack officiating.
Burial was in Johnson Chapel Cemetery.
Ms. Self died Tuesday, March 9, 2004, at Decatur General Hospital. She was born April 5, 1948, in Morgan County to James Huett Self and Ottie Lou Self. She was a member of West Hartselle Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her father, James Huett Self.
She is survived by her mother, Ottie Lou Self of Hartselle; one brother, Gary Huett Self and wife Sharon of Hartselle; nephews Michael Self of Florence and Jonathan Self of Hartselle; niece, Paula Self Bates and husband, Ben of Virginia.
Pallbearers were Michael Self, Ben Bates, Bob Gurganious, Charles Sanford, Johnny Chandler and Mike Harris.
