Aycock, Franklin to wed July 17
Mr. and Mrs. James Aycock of Hartselle announce the engagement of their daughter, Barkley Danielle Aycock of Birmingham, to Brian Andrew Franklin of Atlanta, Ga., son of Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Franklin of Lilburn, Ga.
The bride-elect is a 1999 graduate of Hartselle High School and a prospective graduate of Samford University. She is a member of Phi Mu sorority and Kappa Delta Epsilon honorary education fraternity. She is the granddaughter of Margaret Barkley and the late Ratliff Barkley, and Elnora Aycock and the late Neill Aycock, all of Hartselle.
The groom-elect is a 1997 graduate of Providence Christian Academy and a 2001 graduate of Berry College. He is employed with the corporate office of Chick-fil-A in Atlanta as a quality control coordinator. He is the grandson of Mary Drysdale and the late John Drysdale of Lilburn, Ga., and Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Franklin of Spencer, Ind.
The wedding will be held July 17 at 2:30 p.m. at Lebanon Baptist Church.
Moore, Miller to wed May 15
Judy Morton Moore, formerly of Hartselle, and Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Vaughn Moore, all of Hoover, announce the engagement of their daughter, Emily Sherrill Moore, to Keith Ryan Miller, son of Mr. and Mrs. William Stewart Miller of Snellville, Ga.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Auburn University with a bachelor's degree in human development and family studies and a graduate of the University of Montevallo with a master's degree in elementary education. She is a member of Kappa Delta sorority. She is the granddaughter of Sarah Morton Hart and the late James Lonnie Morton, and Ruth Moore and the late Vaughn Roy Moore, all of Hartselle.
The groom-elect is a graduate of Auburn University with a degree in management information systems. He is a member of Beta Theta Phi. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Davidson Harper Leonard of Columbia, S.C., and the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles Shepherd Miller of East Canton, Ohio.
The wedding will be held May 15 in Homewood at Covenant Presbyterian Church.
