Funeral for James Edward Frazier, 74, of Lacey's Spring was Saturday, March 13, at 3 p.m. at Valhermoso Springs Baptist Church with the Revs. Jimmy Legg and Jimmy Flynn officiating.
Burial was in the adjoining cemetery with Peck Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Frazier died Thursday, March 11, 2004, at his residence. He was born May 8, 1929, in Morgan County to William Robert Frazier and Beluah Lee Thompson Frazier. He was retired from Kaisker Aluminum and was a member of the Valhermoso Springs Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Mari Frazier and Louise Allison; a daughter, Judy Ann Tucker and a grandson, Donnie Edward Grandstaff Frazier.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Ruby Louise Frazier of Lacey's Spring; three sons, Howard K. Frazier and wife Judy C. and James K. Frazier and wife Heidi E., all of Lacey's Spring and Earkley D. Frazier and wife Joyce of New Hope; two daughters, Charlotte E. Key and husband Travis of Hartselle and Brenda K. Daugette and husband Frank of Union Grove; four brothers, Howard Lee Frazier, Raymond E. Frazier, Johnny Lawson Frazier and William Robert Frazier; four sisters, Evelyn Leeth, Velma Dudley, Sherry Key and Betty Jo Miller; 13 grandchildren; six great grandchildren; seven step-grandchildren; and 17 step-great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Robert Coffman, Eric Key, Frankie Daugette, Kenny Frazier, Scott Frazier, Jason Frazier, Franklin Floyd and Colton Edward Frazier.
