Funeral services for Betty Thompson Borden, 73, of Kalamazoo, Mich., was Saturday, March 20, 2004, at Langeland Funeral Home Chapel in Kalamazoo with Pastor John Vick officiating.
Burial was in Fort Custer National Cemetery in Kalamazoo.
Mrs. Borden died Wednesday, March 17, 2004, at Heartland Nursing Home in Kalamazoo. She was born in Decatur on Oct. 25, 1930, to Clint and Mary Sue Thompson and moved to Kalamazoo in 1956. She was preceded in death by her husband, Irwin N. Borden; and her parents.
Mrs. Borden is survived by one son, Ronnie Borden of Galesburg, Mich; one daughter, Betty Faye Hill and husband A. C. of Bells, Tenn.; one daughter-in-law, Kathy Borden of Kalamazoo; one brother, Charlie Thompson of Hartselle; two sisters, Peggy Lindsey and husband James Kyle of Danville and Dot Burgess and husband Buford of Hartselle; three grandchildren, Joshua Borden, Jessica Borden and Jackie Borden; one great-grandchild, Alexis Garrett; and several nieces and nephews.
