Gunter, Penrod to wed July 3
The Rev. and Mrs. Michael Gunter of Hartselle announce the engagement of their daughter, Jeana Leigh Gunter, to Michael Evan Penrod, son of Roger and Sharon Penrod of Bradenton, Fla.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Hartselle High School, Judson College where she received a bachelor's degree in elementary education, and The University of Alabama at Birmingham where she received a master's degree in elementary education.
The future bride is employed with Crestline Elementary School.
She is the granddaughter of the late Aubrey and Nealie Gunter of Decatur, Miss., the late Mr. and Mrs. Coyt Leach of Union, Miss., and Mrs. Addie Gunter of Meridian, Miss. The groom-elect is a graduate of Community Christian School and attended Trevecca Nazarene University.
He is the grandson of Ola Penrod of Bradenton, Fla., the late Evan Penrod, Dorothy and Bob Valentine of Columbus, Ohio, and Ellis and Wilma Bohon of Sarasota, Fla.
The wedding will be held July 3 at Longview Church of God in Vinemont.
