Funeral for Mavis Johnson Gray, 64, of Falkville will be Thursday (today), April 8, at 11 a.m. at Falkville First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Kenneth Weldon officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Burial will be in Falkville City Cemetery.
The body will be at the church one hour prior to the service.
Mrs. Gray died Tuesday, April 6, 2004, at her residence. She was born April 20, 1939, in Limestone County to Percy L. Johnson and Lydia Adeline Smith Johnson. She was a member of Falkville First United Methodist Church. She was the widow of John Maxwell Gray, who passed away two years ago April 2, 2002.
She is survived by two sons, Jeff Gray and wife Pam of Hartselle and Tim Gray and wife Martha of Falkville; one daughter, Deana Gray Nugent and husband Ken of Falkville; and four grandchildren, Brandi Gray, Meggie Gray, Danielle Williams and Emily Gray.
