A graveside service for Joyce Harvel Foster, 68, of Hartselle was Sunday, April 18, at 2 p.m. at Forrest Chapel Cemetery with the Rev. Katherine Perkins officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Mrs. Foster died Friday, April 16, 2004, at Hartselle Medical Center. She was born April 9, 1936, in Lawrence County to James Vernon Smith and Cora Ferguson Smith.
She is survived by two daughters, Paula Kay Atchley and Peggy Lynn Higginbotham, both of Hartselle; one brother, James D. Smith of Alaska; two sisters, Billie Vest and Doris Sheppard, both of Hartselle; one granddaughter, Tanya Atchley; one step-grandson, Kevin Atchley; and three great-grandchildren, Cody Atchley, Lane Atchley and Corey Austin.
