Enquirer wins top honors in APA advertising contest

The Hartselle Enquirer won the top award in its division in the Alabama Press Association's Advertising Contest, APA officials announced last week.
This is the second time in three years the Enquirer has won the Advertising
Sweepstakes Award, the honor given to the newspaper in each division with the highest number of points in contest.
Other top winners were The Birmingham News, The Cullman Times and the Citronelle Call News. The Enquirer competes in the large weekly division.
Other awards won by the Enquirer were:
Enhancement Center, by Production Manager Jill Copeland
David's Catfish, by Copeland
Forty-five newspaper submitted more than 1,000 entries as part of this year's contest. The entries were judged by the Florida Press Association. The awards will be handed out at the APA's May 6 advertising banquet.
