Lady Tigers win four of six

The Hartselle Lady Tigers won four of six games last week. Both losses came in the Hoover tournament, the first to No. 2 ranked 6A Baker High School 1-0, and the second a 7-6 decision to East Ridge a 5A school from Chattanooga, Tenn.
Hartselle 5, Oak Mountain 3
Sabrina Roberts picked up the win with complete game. Roberts scattered eight hits and allowed only two earned runs.
Roberts was 3-for-4 at the plate with one run scored and two RBIs. JJ Lawrimore went 4-for-4 with one RBI while Sarah Whitlow was 2-for-2 with a RBI. Whitley Collins had two hits and scored once.
Baker 1, Hartselle 0
JJ Lawrimore and Shan Jones had the only hits for the Lady Tigers. Sabrina Roberts took the loss.
Hartselle 8, Charles Henderson 3
Elizabeth Stejskal won by throwing a four-hitter and striking out three.
Kayla Orr had two hits including a three-run homer while Holly Hampton and Anna Byrd both had one hit two RBIs and scored one run.
Hartselle 4, Brentwood Academy 0
JJ Lawrimore threw five innings of four-hit ball to pick up the win.
Rachel Carden and Sarah Whitlow had two hits each. Rachel Davidson had a RBI single and scored while Carden scored another run for Hartselle.
Hartselle 2, Mt. Joliet 1
Sabrina Roberts allowed only four hits in seven innings to earn the win.
Whitley Collins and Holly Hampton had two hits each while Sabrina Roberts had one hit and drove in a run. Collins scored the game winning run for Hartselle.
East Ridge 7, Hartselle 6
JJ Lawrimore relieved Sarah McNutt after 2/3 of an inning and took the loss. Lawrimore allowed five of the seven runs.
Sarah Whitlow and Whitley Collins had two hits each while scoring one run. Collins had one RBI while Rachel Carden, Anna Byrd and Sabrina Roberts had one RBI each.
Roberts and Carden scored one run each.
