Marcus Foster Hume

A graveside service for Marcus Foster Hume, 77, of Falkville was Saturday, April 24, at 11 a.m. at Cook Cemetery with the Rev. Jack Redfearn officiating and Hartselle Heritage Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Hume died Tuesday, April 20, 2004, in Hartselle. He was retired from Ford Motor Company in Sheffield where he worked for 26 years. He was a former deacon at Underwood Baptist Church in Florence. Mr. Hume was a Naval World War II veteran. A native of Memphis, he was the son of the late Marcus L. Hume and Annie F. Hume. Mr. Hume was preceded in death by his brother, Thomas Hume of Memphis.
He survived by his wife, Norma Pickens Hume of Hartselle; three children, Patricia Hume Michael and husband Lester of Orange Park, Fla., David M. Hume and wife Ginger of Falkville and Janice R. Hume of Athens, Ga.; brothers, Larry Hume and John Hume, both of Memphis; four grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
