A graveside service for Steve Allie Sanford, 52, of Hartselle was Wednesday, May 26, at 2 p.m. at Friendship Cemetery, south of Danville, with the Revs. Dewitt Crowe and Ralph Henderson officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Sanford died Sunday, May 23, 2004, in Decatur. He was born April 2, 1952, in Morgan County to Marion Allie Sanford and Ada Irene Smith Sanford. He was formerly employed by the Goodyear Mill in Decatur. He was preceded in death by his wife, Scharlene Sanford.
He is survived by three brothers, William Sanford of Danville, and Melvin Sanford and Buford Sanford, both of Somerville.
Pallbearers were nephews.
