Funeral for Betty Jean Hamilton, 66, of Hartselle was Sunday, May 30, at 1:30 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Casey Compton officiating.
Burial was in Oak Ridge Cemetery.
Mrs. Hamilton died Thursday, May 27, 2004, at Decatur General Hospital. She was born July 21, 1937, in Morgan County to Edward Asa Norris and Dessie Johnson Norris. She was a member of Faith World Ministries Church. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Judy Lynn Hamilton.
She is survived by two daughters, Shelia Hale and husband Randy, and Sandra Hamilton, all of Hartselle; her mother, Dessie Atkins of Hartselle; two brothers, Glenn Norris and wife Shirley of Hartselle; and Carl Norris of Maryland; two grandchildren, Damon Hale and Devin Hale; two nieces and two nephews.
Pallbearers were Rodney Hale, Jerry Davis, Joe Morris, Kenny Blaxton, James Halbrooks and Jerome Cox.
