Funeral for Charles L. Rockwell, 89, of Decatur was Tuesday, June 1, at 11 a.m. at Oak Ridge United Methodist Church with the Rev. Thomas Elder officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Burial was in the adjoining cemetery.
Mr. Rockwell died Sunday, May 30, 2004, at Falkville Healthcare Center. He was born Feb. 5, 1915, in Lewis, Kan. He was a retired meat cutter and butcher. He was a member of Oak Ridge United Methodist Church and was preceded in death by his wife, June Rockwell.
He is survived by one son, John Rockwell of Decatur; one daughter, Cala June Legg of Decatur; four grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were members of Oak Ridge United Methodist Church.
