Funeral for Dessie Atkins, 90, of Hartselle was Monday, May 31, at 1:30 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Calvin Westmoreland officiating.
Burial was in Oak Ridge Cemetery.
Mrs. Atkins died Friday, May 28, 2004, at Parkway Medical Center. She was born June 28, 1913, in Winston County to Jeff Johnson and Sarah Depreast Johnson. She was a member of the Christians Assembling Church.
She is survived by one son, Glenn Norris of Hartselle; three grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and seven great great grandchildren.
