Ora Hensley Myers

Funeral for Ora Hensley Myers, 92, of Hartelle was Sunday, May 30, at 2 p.m. at Enon Baptist Church with the Revs. C. G. Reding and Ron Manley officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Burial was in Enon Cemetery.
Mrs. Myers died Thursday, May 27, 2004, at her residence. She was born June 27, 1911, in Lawrence County to Robert Isom Hensley and Dona Lou Brown Hensley. She was preceded in death by her husband, Abraham Jackson Franklin "Frank" Myers; two sons, Jimmy Ray Myers and Robert Frank Myers; four brothers, Otto Hensley, Clarence Hensley, James "Buddy" Hensley and Elmer Hensley.
She is survived by one daughter, Mildred Myers Prater and husband Alfred of Danville; one daughter-in-law, Inez Myers of Hartselle; two brothers, Waymon Hensley and Delmar Ray Hensley, both of Danville; five sisters, Ruby Jenkins of Tavares, Fla., Kathleen McCaghren and Laverne Sanford, both of Danville and Ozelle Harrison and Foree Porter, both of Hartselle; eight grandchildren, Kathy Myers, Dwayne and Jayne Prater, Patsy and Wayne Vess, Frankie Myers, Joel and Evelyn Prater, Nancy and Joey Blankenship, Theresa Myers and Debbie and Billy Cornelius; 24 great grandchildren; and 13 great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Dwayne Prater, Joel Prater, Frankie Myers, Tim Myers, Nick Myers and Larry Blankenship.
Honorary pallbearers were friends of Enon Baptist Church.
