Funeral for Charles Wesley Long, 81, was Friday, June 11 at 10:30 a.m. at the Bennett-May Funeral Home with Jamie Ray Hooper officiating.
Burial was at Maplewood Cemetery.
Mr. Long died June 8, 2004, at Hartselle Medical Center. He was born in Pulaski, Tenn., on Oct. 27, 1923, to John Wesley and Florence Rose Long. Mr. Long was in farming and construction. Preceding him in death was his wife Mary Long.
Survivors include one son, Chuck Long and wife Debbie; five grandchildren, Priscilla Denise Murphy, Amy Michelle Terry, Joshua Wesley Long, Dustin Wayne Robbins, Dana LeAnn Grisby; one sister Dorothy Whitlock and several nieces and nephews.
