Funeral for Lena Estelle Gaines McGuire, 85, of Decatur was Friday, June 18, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Roger White and Barry Cook officiating.
Burial was in Union Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. McGuire died Wednesday, June 16, 2004, at Sunbridge Healthcare and Rehabilitation in Decatur. She was born March 6, 1919, in Cullman County to Joseph Hall and Dixie Etta Morgan Hall. She was a member of Union Hill Freewill Baptist Church.
She is survived by three sons, Melvin Gaines and Emmett O'Neal Gaines, both of Tanner and Randy Gaines and wife Lisa of Decatur; two daughters, Mabelou Tanner of Danville and Louise Shaneyfelt of Decatur; three brothers, Hollis Hall and Aaron Hall, both of Eva and Curtis Hall of Ohio; three sisters, Elnor Graham and Dollie Sue South, both of Eva and Ann Ledbetter of Decatur; nine grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and three great great grandchildren.
