The Hartselle American 7/8-year-old team won the District 1 title on Saturday to advance to the sub-state round of the playoffs in Guntersville beginning July 24.

Jorden Robinson, Connor Shelton, Phillip Summerford and Christopher Smith had two hits each for the winners.
Eric Turner, Colton Key, Alston Howard, Tom Chapman, Tanner Evans, Tate Mathis and Adam Keenum had one hit a piece.
Robinson, Shelton, Key, Keenum and Jake Nelson scored twice each. Waid Miller, Summerford and Evans scored one run each. Turner and Shelton drove home three runs each while Robinson drove in two runs.
Howard, Miller, Chapman, Evans and Nelson had one RBI each.

Muscle Shoals 0
In the semi-final,s Hartselle whipped Muscle Shoals to gain a berth in the finals.
Jorden Robinson, Connor Shelton, Eric Turner, Colton Key and Jake Nelson had tow hits each for Hartselle.
Alston Howard, Phillip Summerford, Christopher Smith, Tom Chapman, Tanner Evans and Tate Mathis had one hit each.
Robinson, Shelton, Turner and Howard scored two runs each while Key and Evans scored one run a piece.

In the championship game, Hartselle recorded its second straight shutout. Jorden Robinson, Connor Shelton, and Phillip Summerford had three hits each while Waid Miller, Christopher Smith, and Tom Chapman had two hits each.
Eric Turner, Colton Key, and Jake Nelson had one hit each. Robinson scored two runs while Shelton, Turner, Miller, Summerford, Smith, Nelson and Alston Howard scored one run each.
