Funeral for Lessie Dora Asherbranner, 85, of Hartselle, was Wednesday, Sept. 8, at 2 p.m. at Enon Baptist Church with the Revs. C. G. Redding and Ron Manly officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Burial was in Johnson Chapel Cemetery.
Mrs. Asherbranner died Monday, Sept. 6, 2004, at Hartselle Medical Center. She was born Aug. 31, 1919, in Cullman County to Leonard Lee Gilland and Dovie White Gilland. She was preceded in death by her husband, Loyd Asherbranner and a daughter, Barbara Asherbranner.
She is survived by one son, James Floyd Asherbranner of Hartselle; one daughter, Annie Locke of Hartselle; one sister, Essie Sanford of Hartselle; seven grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were grandsons and nephews.
