As the trees begin to lose their leaves and we feel that crispness in the early morning air, we know fall is near–and with fall in Hartselle comes our largest community festival – Depot Days!
We have been very busy with the plans and preparations for this year's events. As you know, to provide a better quality festival for Hartselle, we changed the date for the festival. This year's festival will have activities from Sunday, Oct. 3 through Saturday, Oct. 9. We are so excited about this year's calendar of events and believe that you too will be excited about how this festival is evolving.
On Sunday, Oct. 3 we will have our second concert at the football stadium. The concert will feature a variety of Christian music styles, from bluegrass and Southern Gospel to contemporary, something for everyone! What a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon!

Thursday, Oct. 7 is the final concert in the park and we are proud to host the award winning jazz group Microwave Dave and the Nukes at 7 p.m. in E.A.R.T.H. Park. This is a free concert, so plan on being there early with your blanket, picnic or chair.
Saturday, Oct. 9 is the festival date and everything is looking good for the festivities. It is not too late to sign up as a vendor and participate. The famous Sheer's Lumberjack Show is returning to Hartselle for three shows; the car, truck and motorcycle show will be the hopping as "Eleanor" from the movie "60 Seconds" and an original Hertz Rent-a-Racer come in for the day; we will have the largest tractor and gasoline engine show ever in downtown Hartselle, as well as two stages of entertainment, art, crafts, mechanical and inflatable rides in the children's area and a few surprises.
Please invite your friends and neighbors from all over to come and spend some time with you in Hartselle for this week of activities.
