Funeral for Jessie Tapscott Lee, 81, of Hartselle, was Sunday, Sept. 19, at 1:30 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Gary Peebles and Harold Brown officiating.
Burial was in Mt. Tabor Cemetery.
Mrs. Lee died Friday, Sept. 17, 2004, at her residence. She was born July 22, 1923, in Morgan County to Jack R. Tapscott and Rosa M. Ferguson Tapscott. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alton Lee; a brother, Woodrow Tapscott; and four sisters, Esther Tapscott Robertson, Pauline Tapscott Halbrooks, Cerola Tapscott Foster and Maggie Tapscott.
She is survived by one son, Jack E. Johnson of Hartselle; and one granddaughter, Heather Leigh Johnson of Decatur.
Pallbearers were Paul Wayne Tapscott, Jerry Tapscott, Doug Bailey, John Campbell, Michael Free, Kevin Free, Stanley Walls and Kenny Posey.
