Jewell Lake

Funeral for Jewell Lake, 91, of Neel was Monday, Sept. 27, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Revs. Tom Campbell and Wendell Callahan officiating.
Burial was in Johnson Chapel Cemetery.
Mrs. Lake died Saturday, Sept. 25, 2004, at her residence. She was born April 8, 1913, in Texas to Tom Franklin Vest and Eula Florence Cagle Vest. She and her late husband, Willard Lake, had owned and operated a general store in the Neel Community until their retirement. She was a member of the Shady Grove Baptist Church.
She is survived by one son, Jimmy Lake and wife Mildred of Neel; two granddaughters, Ginger Campbell and husband Tad, and Angie Johnson and husband Jeremy, all of Neel; three great grandchildren, Abby, Luke, and Weston Campbell.
Pallbearers were friends and family.
