With trophies under their belts, HHS band readies for Southern Hospitality Festival

Hartselle High School Marching Band marched to success at the recent "Dixie Pride Marching Classic" held at West Morgan High School.
The HHS Marching Band program consisted of: "Stars Fell on Alabama," "Alabama Jubilee," "Sweet Home Alabama," "Blues From Bama," and "My Home's in Alabama."
The HHS Marching Band received all superior ratings (i.e., Drum Major, Majorettes, Color Guard, Percussion, Band, and overall score), placed third in the Class AAA Placement Awards, and received the Best in Class AAA Drum Major award.
Hartselle's band is under the direction of Randall Key with assistant directors Jeff Vaughn and Jerome Ward. Support staff are Kim Roberson and Susan Puckett. Drum Major is Peyton Strickland and Majorette Captain is Anna Vaughn. Color Guard Captains are Natalie Greenhill, Brittany Grammar, and Melissa Villano
Hartselle will host the ninth annual "Southern Hospitality Festival" at J. P. Cain Stadium Saturday, Oct. 2.
