Christabel Burleson Cooper

Funeral for Christabel Burleson Cooper, 88, of Hartselle was Saturday, Oct. 30, at 2 p.m. at Mt. Tabor United Methodist Church with the Rev. Grad Tanner officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Burial was in the adjoining cemetery.
Mrs. Cooper died Thursday, Oct. 28, 2004, at SunBridge Care and Rehabilitation of Decatur. She was born June 8, 1916, in Morgan County to John J. Burleson and Fannie Curry Burleson. She was a Baptist. She was preceded in death by her husband, John F. Cooper; and her son, John Randall Cooper.
She is survived by one daughter, Elizabeth C. Lacks of Bremen; one brother, Donald E. Burleson of Russellville; one sister, Jeanne F. Burleson of Hartselle; five grandchildren, Thomas Brett Lacks, Jason P. Lacks, Melissa L. Owen, Brad Cooper and Adrienne Cooper; and three great-grandchildren, Thomas Beau Lacks, Devon Paige Owen and Morgan McGregory.
Pallbearers were grandsons and nephews.
