Funeral for Trannie Leila Alexander, 92, of Hartselle was Friday, Nov. 26, at 1 p.m. at Hartselle Heritage Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Walter Blackmon officiating.
Burial was in Center Cemetery.
Mrs. Alexander died Tuesday, Nov. 23, 2004, at her residence.
She was born March 16, 1912, in Morgan County to Jasper Newton Williams and Martha Jane Smith Williams. She was a member of East Highland Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard L. Alexander; and one son, James Thomas Alexander.
She is survived by three daughters, Ruth Armstrong, Kathreen Thomas and Martha Gibson, all of Hartselle; one sister, Nellie Williams of Decatur; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were John E. Shaffer, Jaime Bauer, Shannon Bauer, Matthew Bice, Ron Armstrong and Mark Armstrong.
