Funeral for Gladys Bentley Drake, 83, of Decatur was Sunday, Jan. 9, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bryan Lakey officiating.
Burial was in Burningtree Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Drake died Friday, Jan. 7, 2005, at Adams Nursing Home in Alexander City. She was born Sept. 30, 1921, in Morgan County.
She is survived by one son, John M. South and wife Gaye of Trinity; one daughter, Gail Sugg and husband Doug of Alexander City; one sister, Nadine Dunaway of Decatur; two granddaughters, Shannon Mitchell and husband Lynn, and Kelly Gurosky and husband Scott, all of Birmingham; and four great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Jackie Bentley, Jimmy Bentley, David Bentley, Lynn Mitchell, Scott Gurosky and Mark Bentley.
