Funeral for Sarah Lois Fortenberry, 85, of Falkville was Sunday, Jan. 23, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. A. Ray Lee officiating.
Burial was in Lebanon Cemetery.
Mrs. Fortenberry died Friday, Jan. 21, 2005, at Hartselle Medical Center. She was born Nov. 6, 1919, in Morgan County to Jessie Wright and Annie Mae Shaneyfelt Wright. She was a member of Lebanon Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Burl Fortenberry; and a sister, Mable Higgins.
She is survived by one son, James Fortenberry of Hartselle; three daughters, Virginia Massey and husband William of Falkville, Glenda Boyer and husband, Wayne of Hartselle and Elizabeth Fortenberry of Falkville; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a lot of cousins and friends.
Pallbearers were Dwayne Fortenberry, Shannon Boyer, Bryan Hartman, Wayne Boyer, Roy Fortenberry and Troy Fortenberry.
