Funeral for Silas Lee Wright Jr., 68, of Lincolnton, N.C., was Monday, Jan. 31, at 3:30 p.m. at Warlick Funeral Home Chapel in Lincolnton with Dr. J. Dixon Free officiating.
Burial was in Forest Lawn Cemetery in Lincolnton.
Mr. Wright died Wednesday, Jan. 26, 2005, at Gaston Memorial Hospital. He was born in Old Hickory, Tenn., and was the son of the late Silas Lee Wright Sr. and Glennie Margaret McCord Wright of Hartselle. He was a textile manager and chemist. He graduated from St. Bernard College in Cullman.
He is survived by his wife, Elaine Brown Wright of Lincolntown, N.C.; one daughter, Barbara Wright of Lincolnton,, N.C.; four brothers, John D. Wright of Sun Center City, Fla.; James S. Wright of Somerville, Glenn T. Wright of Memphis, Tenn. and Steven McGehee of Shreveport, La.
