Funeral for Marlin C. Brown, 80, of Alpharetta, Ga., formerly of Hartselle, will be Friday, February 25, at 11 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Brooks Barkley officiating.
Burial will be in Hartselle City Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 9:30 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Brown died Monday, Feb. 21, 2005, at Cambridge Farms Assisted Living in Alpharetta, Ga. He was born Nov. 2, 1924, in Morgan County to Cicero Brown and Jenny Hale Brown. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Mullins Brown.
He is survived by one son, Scott A. Brown of Atlanta, Ga.; one daughter, Marla Brown Martin of Birmingham; and four grandchildren, Jessamine Brown, Ashton Brown, Mitchell Martin and Cody Martin.
