Funeral for Shirley Ann Dye, 61, of Falkville, was Tuesday, Feb. 22, at 3 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Billy Gable officiating.
Burial was in New Hope North Cemetery.
Mrs. Dye died Sunday, Feb. 20, 2005, at her residence. She was born Dec. 7, 1943 in Morgan County to Clarence Waymond Young and Murl Magalene Martin Young. She was a homemaker and was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Jerry Dye; and a sister, Alice Peek.
She is survived by two sons, Tim Dye and wife Janet and Jeff Dye and wife Amy of Falkville; one daughter, Tammy Hurd and husband John of Falkville; one brother, Rathel Young of Falkville; two sisters, Betty Riner of Hartselle and Barbara Stinson of Falkville; eight grandchildren, Jonathan Hurd, Josh Hurd, Jared Hurd, Lauren Dye, Meagan Dye, Adam Dye, Colton Dye and Shelby Dye.
Pallbearers were Ben Riner Jr., Kenny Young, Roger Young, Mark Young, Cecil Bomar and Terry Stinson.
