Funeral for Kendall T. Jordan, 78, of Mobile was Thursday, Feb. 24, at 11 a.m. at Radney Funeral Home Chapel in Mobile.
Burial was in Mobile Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Jordan died Tuesday, Feb. 22, 2005. A native of Hattiesburg, Miss., he was the son of the late Annabel S. and William T. Jordan. He was a World War II Naval veteran and a graduate of Mississippi State University with a B.S. degree in accounting. He practiced as a certified public accountant in Mobile from 1949 until his death. Mr. Jordan was president of the Prichard Rotary Club 1965-66 and was a member of Springhill Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by a sister, Miriam Jordan O'Brien; and two brothers, Bill Jordan, Jr. and U.S. Navy Chaplain (R) Richard Jordan.
He is survived by his wife, Emily Kirk Jordan; three sons, Kendall T. Jordan, Jr. and wife Tracie W., Brian Kirk and wife Lisa D. and William Turner, II; one daughter, Katherine Ann Youngquist and husband James L.; four grandchildren, Kelsey Harris Jordan, Camille Patricia Jordan, Elizabeth Katherine Youngquist and Jordan Youngquist; one sister, Martha Ann J. Penn of Hartselle; two brothers-in-law, Rodney Sidney Kirk and wife Lois and Clem R. Kirk and wife Jean; three sisters-in-law, Evelyn K. Hollingsworth, Shirley Jordan and Nell B. Kirk; and nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.
