Asherbranners celebrate 50th anniversary
Ray and Martha Asherbranner of Massey celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary March 13 with a reception hosted by their children at the Massey Volunteer Fire Department Station No. 1, where Mr. Asherbranner was the fire chief for 13 years until his retirement in 1997.
The Asherbranners were married March 13, 1955, at the home of the Rev. D.M. Dutton.
Their family includes Ronald and Jennifer Asherbranner, Melinda, Matthew and Julie; Phillip and Wilma Asherbranner; and Pamela and John MacDonald, Nathaniel and Emily. The reception was well attended by family and friends. The Asherbranners thank all those who attended and sent well wishes.
