Funeral for Bessie White, 84, of Hartselle was Monday, April 11, at 2:30 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Doug Raburn, Clyde Ledlow and Brandon Miller officiating.
Burial was in Edison Chapel Cemetery.
Mrs. White died Saturday, April 9, 2005, at Parkway Medical Center. She was born May 13, 1920, in Randolph County to Oscar Landers and Dovie Skinner Landers. She was a Baptist. She was preceded in death by her husband, J.C. White.
She is survived by one son, Gary White and wife Brenda of Rome, Ga.; one daughter, Rovine Corder and husband Don of Hartselle; one brother, Robert Landers of Birmingham; four sisters, Loveaina Snell and Lee McDowell, both of Gadsden and Ruth Bright of Baileyton and Reba Bryant of Memphis; five grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Wayne White, Craig White, Travis Bailey, Kenny Corder, Jeff Corder and Jan Corder.
