Funeral for James Louis Martin Sr., 79, of Hartselle was Friday, April 22, at 11 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel.
Burial was in Johnson Chapel Cemetery.
Mr. Martin died Wednesday, April 20, 2005, at Baptist Montclair Medical Center in Birmingham. He was born March 29, 1926, in Michigan to Louis James Martin and Ruth Jane Gable Martin. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruthie Martin.
He is survived by one son, James Martin Jr. and wife Susan of Hartselle; one daughter, Judy Ann Martin Eddy of Falkville; and five grandchildren, Kimberly Eddy, Mallory Eddy, Jessica Waddell, Heather Waddell and Dillan Martin.
Pallbearers were nephews.
