Funeral for David Weaver, 88, of Hartselle was Thursday, June 2, at 3 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Charles Sparks officiating.
Burial was in Burningtree Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Weaver died Wednesday, June 1, 2005, at his residence. He was born Nov. 18, 1916, in Lawrence County to John Byrd Weaver and Lila Bell Folsom Weaver.
He is survived by his wife, Nealey Weaver of Hartselle; two sons, Roy Weaver and wife Terry Gene of Hartselle and Jerry Weaver and wife Shelby of Falkville; one daughter, Ann Terry and husband Gary of Moulton; four sisters, Evie Jane Vinson, Isle Gist and Iler Heaps, all of Moulton, and Audrey Heaps of Falkville; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were his grandsons.
