Funeral for Benjamin Edward VanVoorst, 62, of Danville was Monday, July 11, at 11 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Paul Pitts and Danny Pitts officiating.
Burial was in East Lawrence Memorial Garden.
Mr. VanVoorst died Saturday, July 9, 2005, at his residence. He was born Nov. 20, 1942, in Indiana to Earl B. VanVoorst and Mary E. Smock VanVoorst. He was preceded in death by a daughter, April VanVoorst.
He is survived by his wife, Jill L. VanVoorst of Danville; two sons, Benjamin VanVoorst and wife Gracie of Holly Pond and Eric VanVoorst of Danville; one brother, Jerry VanVoorst and wife Ann of Sansom; one sister, Marlene Sando and husband Nelson of Avon, Ind.; and three grandchildren.
Pallbearers were John Chaney, Jon Harbin, Jason Pitts, Mark Pitts, Brian Licko and Chris Zamudio.
