William 'W. E.' Brown

Funeral for William "W. E." Brown, 83, of Lacey's Spring was Wednesday, July 20, at 2 p.m. at Valhermoso Springs Holiness Church with the Revs. Melvin Brown and Donald Trosper officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Burial was in the adjoining cemetery. Mr. Brown died Monday, July 18, 2005, at Huntsville Hospital. He was born Jan. 2, 1922, in Morgan County to Warren Brown and Eura Worley Brown. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Armitia Robinson; a brother, Dwight Brown; and a sister Eoma Brown.
He is survived by his wife, Evelyn Brown of Lacey's Spring; a son, J. W. Brown of Lacey's Spring; two daughters, Marilyn Knibbs and Patty Malone of Huntsville; three stepsons; three stepdaughters; three brothers, Charles Brown of Somerville, Rev. Melvin Brown of Lacey's Spring and Cecil Brown of Somerville; two sisters, Cherie Johnson and Madge Schofield, both of Somerville; nine grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
