Philip Barton

A graveside service for Philip Barton, 69, of Trinity will be Thursday (today), Aug. 11, at 3 p.m. at East Lawrence Memorial Gardens with Peck Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Barton died Monday, Aug. 8, 2005, at University Hospital in Birmingham. He was born April 27, 1938, in England to Fredrick James Barton and Hilda Reford Barton. He served eight years in the Royal Signals British Army. He was born in England.
He is survived by his wife, Alene Barton of Trinity; two sons, Rick Barton and Kevin Barton, both of England; one daughter, Debra Arter of Australia; step-daughter, Crystal Willard of Trinity; three brothers, Carl Barton, John Barton and Nick Barton, all of England; sisters, Jean, Babbs and Ann, all of England; six grandchildren; and four-great grandchildren.
