Charley Murphy

A graveside service for Charley Murphy, 77, of Falkville, was Saturday, Aug. 13, at 2 p.m. at Cedar Creek Cemetery with the Rev. Randy Milligan officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Mrs. Murphy died Friday, Aug. 12, 2005, at Summerford Nursing Home. She was born June 21, 1928, in Blount County to Jessie Frank Jenkins and Edith Hill Jenkins. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Murphy and a daughter, Tracy Murphy Nelson.
She is survived by two sons, Dan Murphy and PeeWee Murphy, both of Hartselle and Dale Murphy of Danville; a daughter, Jane Lawrence of Falkville; 12 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Scott Murphy, Ross Murphy, Wesley Vonlow, Nick Lawrimore, Mike Lawrence and Charley Howse, Jr.
