L. C. 'Big Boy' Blankenship

Funeral for L. C. "Big Boy" Blankenship, 75, of Lacey's Spring was Monday, Aug. 15, at 3 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Harold Brown officiating.
Burial was in New Center Cemetery.
Mr. Blankenship died Friday, Aug. 12, 2005, at Lawrence Baptist Medical Center. He was a member of New Center Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Iren Bomar Blankenship; a daughter, Brenda Gail Halbrooks; and a brother, Harvel Blankenship.
He is survived by two sons, Larry J. Riddle of Lacey's Spring and Gary Mac Blankenship of Hartselle; one daughter, Carolyn Riddle of Union Grove; twin sister, C. L. Moore and sister, Hilda Singleton, both of Hartselle; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were grandsons and nephews.
