Elizabeth 'Lizzie' Free

Funeral for Viney Elizabeth "Lizzie" Free, 75, of Hartselle was Tuesday, Aug. 23, at 1:30 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Roger Ammons and Jack Garnett officiating.
Burial was in Shoal Creek Cemetery.
Mrs. Free died Sunday, Aug. 21, 2005, at her residence. She was born Dec. 11, 1929, in Lawrence County to Lonnie Jackson Lawrimore and Frances Lucinda Parker Lawrimore. She was a nurse. She was preceded in death by a brother, Sherman Lawrimore and a sister, Mattie Sue Coan.
She is survived by her husband, Calvin J. Free of Hartselle; four sons, Edward Glenn Free of Decatur and William Thomas Free, Charles Ervin Free and Dennis Ray Free, all of Hartselle; a daughter, Deborah Fay Childs of Eva; a brother, Herman Lawrimore of Mount Hope; 16 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Kenneth Free, Ronnie Lawrimore, Sammy Lawrimore, Delton Lawrimore, Ray Lawrimore and Ronald Free. Honorary pallbearers were Joe Free and Joel Coan.
