Gladys 'Nanny' Galbreath

A graveside service for Gladys "Nanny" Galbreath, 62, of Somerville was Sunday, Aug. 21, at 1 p.m. at Tuscaloosa Memorial Park in Tuscaloosa with Peck Funeral Home directing.
Mrs. Galbreath died Friday, Aug. 19, 2005, at Huntsville Hospital. She was born Nov. 3, 1942, in Tuscaloosa County to Hulon A. Moon and Francis C. Morgan Moon. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and a Nanny to all who knew her. She was a lifetime member of the Priceville High School Booster Club and was the Bulldogs No. 1 fan. She loved football and volunteered to help the teams in many capacities.
She is survived by her husband, Art Galbreath of Somerville; two daughters, Christy Holland and husband John of Decatur and Gayle Galbreath of Decatur; three brothers, Wayne Moon of Tampa, Fla., Sonny Moon of Calif. and Hugh Moon of Maine; one sister, Jackye Hollingsworth of Tuscaloosa; one sister-in-law, Barbara Deerman of Tuscaloosa; three grandchildren, Jon Galbreath, Hannah Holland and Jack Holland. Memorials may be made to the Priceville High School Booster Club.
