Virginia Whitson Green McCullough, 87, of Decatur died Sunday, Aug. 21, 2005, at her residence. She was preceded in death by her sons, Kenneth M. Green and Floyd Ray Green; and five sisters, Wilma, Dorothy, Francis, Jamie and Myrtle.
She is survived by her husband of 36 years, the Rev. Brady E. McCullough Sr.; her son, Wayne Green (Darlene) of Birmingham; her grandchildren, Kristina Brown (Frank) of Clarksdale, Miss. and Drs. Eric Green (Shari); and great-grandchildren, Jacob and Abby Green of Lexington, Ky.; stepchildren, the Rev. Brady E. McCullough Jr. (Cecelia) of Old Houston, Ala. and Paulette McCullough Gregory of Irving, Texas; and a host of friends and relatives.
Mrs. McCullough was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and friend who devoted her life to serving others. She continues to serve others by the donation of her body to the University of Alabama School of Medicine.
A memorial service will be held Sunday, Aug. 28, at 4 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel.
