Funeral for Jerry Doyle Way, 50, of Somerville was Saturday, Sept. 3, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bros. Shane Lewis and Curtis Stanford officiating.
Burial was in New Friendship Cemetery.
Mr. Way died Wednesday, Aug. 31, 2005, at his residence. He was born Jan. 29, 1955, in Lawrence County to Walter Way and Ethel Naylor Way. He was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters; and three brothers.
He is survived by his wife, Freda Shadden Way of Somerville; a son, Jeremy Way of Somerville; a daughter, Cindy Murphree of Somerville; a brother, Waylon Way of Moulton; two sisters, Doris McKay and Dorothy Ann Smith, both of Moulton; and two grandchildren, Skyler and Matthew Murphree.
Pallbearers were family and friends.
