Carrie Orr O'Bar

A graveside service for Carrie Orr O'Bar, 89, of Hartselle was Friday, Sept. 23, at 3 p.m. at Hartselle Memory Gardens with Dr. Todd Evans officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Mrs. O'Bar died Wednesday, Sept. 21, 2005, at Parkway Medical Center. She was born Dec. 4, 1915, in Morgan County to Harrison Welch Orr and Minnie Ada Penn Orr. She was a homemaker, a member of First Baptist Church in Hartselle and a longtime resident of Hartselle. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Carl O'Bar.
She is survived by a son, William D. O'Bar of Fairbanks, Alaska; a daughter, Linda O. Johnston of Decatur; two sisters, Essie Hardison and Alleen Christopher, both of Athens; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
