Funeral for Sylvia Olean Kirby Duncan Haynes, 78, of Moulton was Wednesday, Sept. 28, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Andrew Dwight McKay officiating.
Burial was in Mt. Tabor Cemetery.
Mrs. Haynes died Saturday, Sept. 24, 2005, at her residence. She was born July 23, 1927, in Morgan County to Edison Kirby and Lula Mulligan Kirby. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Aziel Kirby and Joe Kirby and three sisters, Audrey Sams, Bertha Cobb and Gertie Hopper.
She is survived by her ex-husband, Lebren Dowell Duncan of Moulton; a son, Dowell Cleo Duncan and wife Myra of Decatur; three daughters, Diane Duncan Bradley and husband Carl "Bug" Jr. and Jennifer Ann Duncan Terry and husband Freddie, all of Moulton and Darlene Denice McClendon of Danville; a foster son, Roger Dale McNeal and wife Connie of Decatur; a brother, Henry Ford Kirby of Hartselle; a sister, Nell Montgomery of Hartselle; nine grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Brent Luke, Amanda Terry, Roger McNeal, Shane Bradley, Cindy Dingler and David Herren.
