Funeral for Carrie LaVerne Carnell, 89, of Decatur was Wednesday, October 5, at 2 p.m. at Holland Memorial Chapel in Priceville.
Burial was in Hartselle Memory Gardens.
Ms. Carnell died Sunday, Oct. 2, 2005, at Sunbridge Nursing Home in Decatur. She was born July 12, 1916, in Morgan County to Mr. and Mrs. Edward Stephen Carnell. She was retired from Goodyear in Decatur. Ms. Carnell was preceded in death by two her parents; sisters, Inez McGee and Mary Tapscott; and a brother, James Fred Carnell.
She is survived by a sister, Peggy Wilson of Huntsville; a brother, John Edward Carnell, who resides at Lincoln Lodge in Athens; and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Jim Carnell, John Carnell, Stuart Wilson, Steve Wilson, Kevin Cassady, Terry Hahn and Ronnie Dodson.
