Jerry Wayne 'Buck' Harvel

Funeral for Jerry Wayne "Buck" Harvel, 57, of Decatur will be Thursday, (today) Oct. 6, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ronnie Bullard officiating.
Burial will be in Moss Chapel Cemetery.
Mr. Harvel died Monday, Oct. 3, 2005, at Williamson Medical Center in Franklin, Tenn. He was born Nov. 18, 1947, in Morgan County to Paul Warren Harvel and Mae Attkisson Harvel. He was a veteran and a truck driver.
He is survived by his wife, Sharon Harvel of Decatur; two sons, J. David Harvel and wife Melissa of Hartselle and Andrew Jesse-Paul Harvel of Decatur; two daughters, Karre Leanne Harvel and Ashley Renee Harvel, both of Decatur; his mother, Mae Attkisson Harvel of Hartselle; three brothers, Paul Warren Harvel and wife Linda Sue and Royce Van "Buzzy" Harvel and wife Debra, all of Hartselle, and John Patrick Henry Harvel of Houston, Tex.; three sisters, Lynda Gail Benfield and husband James of Decatur, Judy Caroline Williams of Hartselle and Martha Jo Maddox and husband Bob of San Antonio, Tex; and two grandchildren, Katie Harvel and Hannah Grace Tillman.
Pallbearers will be Terry Lee, Chris Weaver, Andrew Harvel, Josh Owens, Logan Whitlow and Zachary Ward.
